Your Guide to Our Magical December Dates
With December just around the corner, Cherry Lodge is getting ready for one of the most magical months of the year! We have a fantastic line-up of themed days and festive activities designed to spark joy, creativity and plenty of Christmas cheer. From cosy pyjamas to glittering party days, here’s everything coming up over the next few weeks.
Thursday 27th November – Christmas Photos Day
We’re kicking off the festive season with our annual Christmas Photos Day. A lovely chance to capture those special smiles, so feel free to dress your little ones in something festive if you wish.
Wednesday 3rd December – Elf Day for Alzheimer’s Society
Time to get mischievous! The children are invited to dress as elves (or wear something fun and festive) as we support the Alzheimer’s Society. A day of giggles and a great cause.
Wednesday 10th December – Christmas Stay and Play
Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us for a festive Stay and Play session. Enjoy crafts, activities and precious time exploring the nursery alongside your child.
Thursday 11th December – Christmas Jumper Day
It’s time to brighten the nursery with bold, sparkly and silly Christmas jumpers! Whether it’s knitted, flashing or fabulously over-the-top, we want to see it.
Friday 12th December – Elf Day at the Library
Our elf adventures continue with a festive trip to the library for stories and seasonal fun. A wonderful chance for children to enjoy a magical morning of reading and imagination.
Monday 15th December – Christmas Pyjama Day
A cosy day awaits! Children can come dressed in their favourite pyjamas for a relaxed and comforting day filled with winter stories and warm activities.
Thursday 18th December – Christmas Dinner Day
We’ll be serving a warm and delicious Christmas meal for the children to enjoy together. A lovely chance to celebrate good food, friendship and festive spirit.
Tuesday 23rd December – Christmas Party Day
We’re ending the term on a high with our big Christmas Party Day! Expect music, dancing, games and festive treats as we celebrate the start of the holiday season.
